Service Description

Puppy Agility Foundation is all about laying the groundwork for a confident, focused, and physically prepared young dog. This clinic is about building the right attitude, understanding, and coordination through age-appropriate activities. In this 3.5 hour Puppy Agility Foundation clinic, we will introduce the following skills: Focus & Engagement • Name recognition and focus games, cookie toss • Impulse control (waiting for release cues) • Marker training (clicker or verbal)with basic life skills Body Awareness & Coordination • Balance work (e.g., wobble boards, FitPaws equipment) • Body awareness games (Box and Platform work) • Confidence-building with targets Flatwork & Handling Basics • Motion cues that help dogs follow the handler • Beginning turns (front crosses, rear and blind crosses — on the flat/cones • Reinforcement zone games (heel-side awareness) Collection Intro to Obstacles (Puppy-safe) • Puppy Tunnels • Level planks • Cone work with motion and verbal cues (figure 8’s) Games & Drive Building • Tug and play with rules • Motivation games (chase, restrained recalls)
