Service Description

Puppy/Young Dog Agility Foundation 2 is a continuation Clinic of PAF1 and will progress on the skills previously covered. This clinic is also open to any Puppy/Young dog with good foundation looking for more progressive skill work. In this 3.5 hour Puppy/Young Dog Agility Foundation 2 clinic, we will focus on the following skills: Focus & Engagement • Focus Forward skills and Tunnel exit focus • Impulse control - longer wait times before reinforcement • Marker training - timing of more sophisticated behaviors Body Awareness & Coordination • Balance work - on elevated planks (turns, static behaviors) • Body awareness games (Box and Platform work) • Confidence building with targets - adding distance Flatwork & Handling Basics • Cross work on cones • Front, rear and blind crosses on a single obstacle • Reinforcement zone games - Collection to a platform Obstacles • Puppy Tunnels with blind entrances • Puppy Tunnels with turns • Single Jump work Games & Drive Building • Driving to toys and targets • Motivation games (chase, restrained recalls) with an obstacle
